The Accu-Chek

®

Advantage

®

Kit is packaged with one

level of glucose control solution. When purchased at a
store, glucose control solutions are packaged with
two levels per box. Only one level of control solution is
required for glucose control testing.

If you perform a control test without using the

Chek

Strip, the control test result will be stored in

memory and appear just like the blood sugar results. If
you do not use the Chek

Strip when you perform the

control test, there is no way to erase the result from
memory. (You can manually keep track of the control
tests that have been stored in memory to keep them
separate from the actual blood sugar test results.)

Items You Need

When you open a new bottle of glucose control

solution, write the date on the label. The glucose
control solution is good for 3 months after opening
or until the expiration date, whichever comes first.
