Does the beeper have to
be turned on? No, it is
an optional feature.
Turning the beeper on or
off does not affect the
test results.

The Accu-Chek
Advantage meter is set
to beep when:

• A strip is inserted.
• Blood or control

solution is applied to
strip.

• A result is displayed.
• An error occurs

while testing.

• Buttons are pushed.

1. Turn meter ON.

2. Press ON/OFF and

MEM buttons at the
same time. The
beeper is now on.

3. Press ON/OFF button.

The Beeper is now
off.

4. To turn beeper back

on, simply press
ON/OFF button again.

5. Press ON/OFF and

MEM buttons at the
same time to leave
this function.
