If any yellow mesh is still visible after you

have applied the initial drop of blood, a second
drop of blood may be applied to the target area
within 15 seconds. If more than 15 seconds have
passed, the test result may be erroneous and you
should discard the test strip and repeat the test.
Although only a small amount of blood is needed, it
is very important that you put enough blood on your
test strip so that, at the end of the test, the entire
yellow target area is covered. This ensures that your
meter can produce accurate and reliable results.

When blood is applied
correctly to the strip, a
box rotates on the dis-
play until measurement
is completed.
