Place the duplicate copy of the battery expiration date label on the ELT in a location where it
is visible when the ELT is installed in the mounting tray.
NOTE: The label is supplied with the new battery pack.

Enter the pertinent battery replacement information in the logbook (i.e., aircraft records) and
fill out any other required documentation.
