ighten compression nut (1) with SW 41, torque max. 50 Nm

ighten locknut (2) with SW 36, torque max. 40 Nm.

Note:
T

ake note for VEGAPULS 62 with rinsing air connection that the holes

in the antenna and in the process fitting correspond. This ensures a
sufficient air flow (the air is led through the holes to the feed system. A
rinsing of the parabolic antenna in total is not intended).

4.4 Mounting instructions

he illustrations with the following mounting instructions show a

VEGAPULS

62

with horn antenna. The mounting instructions apply

analogously also to the version with parabolic antenna.

W

hen mounting the sensor, keep a distance of at least 200 mm

(7.874

in) to the vessel wall. If the sensor is installed in the center of

dished or round vessel tops, multiple echoes can arise. These can,
however, be suppressed by an appropriate adjustment (see chapter
"

Setup").
