4 .2 Mounting steps
S eal the thread with teflon, hemp or a similar resistant seal
material on the process fitting thread 1½ NPT.
à Screw VEGABAR 74 into the welded socket. Tighten the
hexagon on the process fitting with a suitable wrench.
W
rench size, see chapter "Dimensions".
S
eal the flange connections according to DIN/ANSI with a
suitable, resistant seal and mount VEGABAR 74 with suitable
screws.
U se the seal suitable for the respective process fitting. You can
find the components in the line of VEGA accessories in the
supplementary instructions manual "Welded socket and
seals".
