Chiller menu descriptions

Key name in parentheses denotes the shortcut key for accessing that screen directly.

MAIN MENU (MENU or PROG)

CURRENT STATUS (BLUE key)

RUNNING STATUS

Shows the current on or off status of the system pumps and compressors.

LOOP STATUS

Displays the current discharge temperature and return temperature for each pump loop.

COMPRESSOR STATUS

Displays the head pressure and suction pressure for each refrigeration circuit. Suction

pressure display is optional.

CONDENSER FAN STATUS

Displays ON/OFF status of the condenser fans, current fan speed demand in percent, and the

actual fan speed in Hz.

MAIN ON/OFF Status (ON/OFF)

Enables or disables each pump and compressor. This only shows whether or not the device is

enabled. For example, a pump 2 could be enabled, but it could be off because of a flow error.

When devices are enabled, a reset of a device fault will cause the device to restart

automatically.

CURRENT ALARMS (ALARM key)

When any alarm is active, the alarm pilot lamp on the chiller enclosure, as well as the alarm

key on the remote and built in display will glow red. Pressing either alarm key or entering this

menu will take you to the first of any current alarms.

Checking Alarms

Press the alarm key on any terminal. The screen will go to the first active alarm. Use the

DOWN arrow key to scroll through any other alarms that may be present. After scrolling past

the last alarm, the reset screen will appear. Pressing the ENTER key at this screen will reset

the alarm, if the alarm has physically been cleared. For example, a High Pressure alarm will

only be cleared if the high pressure switch is reset.
