The K factor makes it possible to standardise the output
frequency of the floe sensor to the flow.

Output frequency of the flow sensor

The K factor defines the number of pulses per volume unit:

You can find the K factor in the data sheet of the flow sensor
being used.

The volume unit of the K factor determines the flow unit, e.g.,
Type 8020 with DN 25 PVC fitting (see Table 2, Page 24)

gives the flow value in litres per time unit

7.3.2 Multiplier of the K Factor

The display only displays values in the range from 0 to 199,99. With the multiplier
(upper row of bars), you can extend the display by a factor of 10.
