Check the front of the box and back label of the
product to make sure you have the correct POOL
FROG® Mineral Reservoir to fit your POOL FROG® Mineral
Hybrid Cycler.

Replacing a POOL FROG® Mineral Reservoir
Turn off pump. Turn dial
to setting 0. This reduces
the flow of water into the unit
when the cap is open.
Use the cap tool
included with the POOL
FROG® Mineral Hybrid
Cycler to loosen cap by hit-
ting the handle with the flat
of your hand counter clock-
wise. Discard old mineral
reservoir.
Find slot on side of
POOL FROG® Mineral
Reservoir and line up with fin
inside the cycler. Lower
mineral reservoir into cycler
until secure.
Replace cap by hand
only. Do Not Over
Tighten.
Turn control dial on
POOL FROG® Mineral
Hybrid Cycler to Maximum.
Set the Mineral
Replacement Timer by
pressing when NEED
MNRL is displayed until NEW
and then 180D is displayed.
Press
to set the timer.
NOTE: To see how many
days remain before the
Minerals need to be replaced,
simply press
twice.

Once wetted, the time-released mineral coating of the
POOL FROG® Mineral Reservoir is effective up to 6
consecutive months or one pool season whichever is
shorter. After that time, even if you hear the spent media
inside, it is no longer effective and must be replaced.
NOTE: When starting unit for the very first time, the
Mineral Replacement Indicator will automatically be set
at 6 months (180 days). You will not need to reset for 6
months or untilthe next season, whichever is shorter.
LOW MNRL will appear
in the general display
30 days before the 6 month
replacement of the POOL
FROG® Mineral Reservoir is
due. LOW MNRL will contin-
ue to flash every 2 seconds
for the next 30 days or until
the Mineral Reservoir is
replaced and the 6 month
timer is reset.
NEED MNRL will
appear in the general
display when 6 months is
up. It will flash every 1/2
second until the Mineral
Reservoir is replaced and
the 6 month timer is reset.
Before resetting the timer,
replace the POOL FROG®
Mineral Reservoir using the
following directions.

Use only the factory recommended replacement
POOL FROG® Mineral Reservoir or POOL FROG® Bac
Pac if needed. DO NOT USE any other pac or bulk
chemical tablets in the cycler. (See Troubleshooting.)
Use of any other product could result in damage to
pool equipment or surface, unsafe pool conditions,
fire or explosion. Warranty will be void if the correct
POOL FROG® Mineral Reservoir is not used.
