Wire Divider Bracket #9870 Assembly and Installation Instructions
The Wire Separators supplied with these brackets are designed to fit 7mm, 8mm and
8.5mm wires. Please note that there is a left and right side. Care should be taken not to
damage chrome finish during assembly and installation.
1. Assemble both divider brackets as shown in drawing below.
NOTE: Leave adjustable mounting loose at this time.
2. Attach adjustable mounting tabs to lower valve cover bolts and tighten to original
torque specifications.
3. Space wire divider brackets either forward or to the rear of each side of engine as desired,
then tighten adjustable mounting tabs to divider brackets securely.
NOTE: Be sure to use supplied Ny-Lok nuts on mounting tabs to prevent brackets from
vibrating loose.
We recommend disconnecting and routing one ignition wire at a time to keep them in
proper firing order. Wires should fit easily into separators. Hold brackets securely while
inserting wires to prevent bending.
