A Show Table window appears; select the location table that you cre-
ated when you imported your location data and then click the Add but-
ton. Next, click Close to close the Show Table window.

The Query window appears. A table window appears in the Query win-
dow.

Drag the Site field to the first column of the Field row and the Bin
Location field to the second column of the Field row.

Click the Design tab and select Results > Run.

The query runs and the data in the bin location import file appears.

To update the Bin Location table with the new data, run an append
query. To run an append query, place the window in Design View by
selecting View > Design.

Next, select Design tab > Append.

An append dialog appears; click the drop-down arrow in the Table
Name field and select the Bin Location table. Select the Current
Database option. Click OK.

Place the cursor in the Append To row in the Site field and select a Site
from the drop-down list.

Place the cursor in the BINLOC field and select BINLOC from the
drop-down list.

12.

Select Results > Run. A message appears notifying you that you are
about to append the table. To continue, click Yes. To cancel appending
the data, click No.

13.

Close the query; you are prompted to save it. Save the query as Import
BINLOC
. Click OK.

14.

To verify data is in the Bin Location table: select the Bin Location tab
and open it to view the imported data.

To transfer the imported inventory data, create a select query based on the
imported data and then update the inventory table by running an append
query.

1.

To run a select query based on the imported inventory data, click Cre-
ate
> Other > Query Design.

A Show Table window appears; select the inventory table that you cre-
ated when you imported your inventory data and then click the Add
button. Click the Close button next to close the Show Table window
and view the table’s fields. The table is placed in the upper pane of the
query window. The Inventory table contains many field and stores
common product information. Only import the ItemNo fields. Review
