Click on the SPD (Serial Presence Detect) icon to view the SPD information as
shown above to display the SPD information window (see Figure 2.13 on page 44 ). This
feature is available on interposers which support SPD capture. Only the Kibra 380 DDR3
UDIMM does NOT support SPD reading.
Once acquired, this SPD info will be saved in the Trace File for viewing later in the Trace
Info view. In addition, if you click the Apply SPD button, the values in the SPD will
be applied to the memory controller settings wherever possible.
IMPORTANT! These values reflect only the DIMM's abilities, and might not correspond to the
capabilities of the current Memory Controller on the Host. It is up to the user to verify
that the values used in the Memory Controller settings are correct for the setup under
test.
