Clean with emery cloth.

Oil Blowing out Vent Plug

Flat bottomed Vent Plug or

Replace with proper Vent Plug,

shallow cavity Plug.

Cavity in Oil Plug should be

approximately 5/8”.

Oil level too high.

Lower oil level to Plug.

Gearbox Leaking

Damaged Oil Seal.

Replace Seal.

No Oil Seal.

Install Oil Seal.

Oil too light.

EP140.

Bent Shaft.

Replace Oil Seal and Shaft.

Oil Seal Race rough.

Replace Shaft or repair Race.

Oil Seal installed wrong.

Replace Seal.

Oil Seal not sealing in the housing.

Replace Seal or use a sealant on O.D.
