Basic operation
1 Release HOLD.
2 Insert a recordable disc with the label
side a up and in the direction of the
arrow b .
3 Slide REC/EDIT while pressing the
red button.
The REC indicator lights and recording
starts.
c Recording sound level

e Remaining time of the disc
Holding REC/EDIT for 2 seconds after
sliding activates the recording pause
mode.
Press
` to start recording.
When operating with the remote control,
press
` while pressing MODE.
Press ` again to start recording.
4 Start playback of the connected unit.

5 Press a to stop recording.
The data concerning the contents of the
recording are registered.

After the TOC (Table Of Contents) data
is registered, the display changes and
power is automatically turned off.

To pause recording
Press ` during recording. To resume,
press it again.
To remove the disc
Make sure that the power is turned off after
registering the TOC data in step 5, then
open the disc holder.
You cannot open the disc holder during
recording or registering the TOC data.

Effacement de pistes
Vous pouvez effacer une ou toutes les
pistes d’un disque.
1 Lisez la piste à effacer.
Lisez une piste quelconque pour effacer
toutes les pistes.
2 Faites glisser REC/EDIT en appuyant
sur le bouton rouge.
3 Pour effacer une seule piste, appuyez
plusieurs fois sur MODE jusqu’à ce que
“ERASE” s’affiche.

Pour effacer toutes les pistes d’un
disque, appuyez plusieurs fois sur
MODE jusqu’à ce que “ALLERASE”
s’affiche.

4 Appuyez sur ENTER.
“ERS OK?” s’affiche.
Vérifiez que l’effacement ne pose pas de
problème.
Pour annuler, appuyez sur
` ou a .
5 Appuyez à nouveau sur ENTER.
Si vous avez sélectionné “ERASE”, la
piste sélectionnée est effacée et le
numéro de toutes les pistes suivantes
est diminué d’une unité.
Si vous avez sélectionné
“ALLERASE”, toutes les pistes du
disque sont effacées.

Löschen von Spuren
Sie können eine oder alle Spuren auf einer
Disc löschen.
1 Spielen Sie die zu löschen gewünschte
Spur ab.
Zum Löschen aller Spuren können Sie
eine beliebige Spur abspielen.
2 Schieben Sie REC/EDIT, während der
rote Knopf gedrückt gehalten wird.
3 Zum Löschen nur einer Spur drücken
Sie MODE wiederholt, bis „ERASE“
erscheint.
→ 1
Zum Löschen aller Spuren auf der
Disc drücken Sie MODE wiederholt, bis
„ALLERASE“ erscheint.
→ 2
4 Drücken Sie ENTER.
„ERS OK?“ erscheint.
Stellen Sie sicher, daß wirklich gelöscht
werden soll.
Zum Abbrechen drücken Sie
` oder
a .
5 Drücken Sie ENTER erneut.
Wenn Sie „ERASE“ gewählt haben,
wird die gewählte Spur gelöscht, und alle
nachfolgenden Spurnummern werden
um eins nach unten verschoben.
Wenn Sie „ALLERASE“ gewählt
haben, werden alle Spuren auf der Disc
gelöscht.
