Map Information Screen

When you select Map Info, a screen similar to

Figure 3-13

appears. The location

of the element being reported appears on line 1.

Lines 1, 2, 3, and 4 on this screen are scrollable in unison. For each scroll
position, line 1 displays one of the following locations:

DLT1

slot 1 through slot 10

If the server software license permits fewer slots than the tape magazine
contains and if reserved slots have been designated in accordance with that
license or to use the Autoclean mode, fewer slots are displayed. For the
procedure on designating reserved slots see

Depending on the presence or absence of a tape cartridge in the element being
reported, line 2 displays either “Empty” or “Occupied.”

Depending on the report for each location, line 3 displays either “Label Valid” or
“Label Not Present.”

For each location reported, line 4 displays the actual bar code on the label, with
up to 8 characters. If there is no label or if no bar code reader is installed, line 4
is blank.
