Components

Continuous Access XP operations involve the XP1024/XP128 at a primary and secondary (remote) site,

physical communications paths between these disk arrays, and Command View XP or XP Remote Web

Console. Continuous Access XP copies online data at the primary site to volumes at the secondary site via

dedicated Fibre Channel and/or ESCON remote copy connections.
Host failover software is required for effective disaster recovery with Continuous Access XP.
