21. Install the secondary PCIe riser cage.
22. If necessary, secure the full-length expansion board retainer for the primary or the secondary PCIe riser
cages on the air baffle.
23. Install the access panel (on page 25 ).
24. Install the server into the rack.
25. Connect each power cord to the server.
26. Connect each power cord to the power source.
27. Power up the server (on page 23 ).
Memory options
IMPORTANT: This server does not support mixing LRDIMMs or RDIMMs. Attempting to mix any
combination of these DIMMs can cause the server to halt during BIOS initialization.
