7. Install an expansion board into the PCI riser cage, if needed.
8. Connect any internal or external cables.
9. Install the optional secondary PCIe riser cage.
10. If not already installed, install the secondary processor (" Processor option " on page 44 ).
11. Install the access panel (on page 25 ).
12. Install the server into the rack (" Installing the server into the rack " on page 40 ).
13. Connect each power cord to the server.
14. Connect each power cord to the power source.
15. Power up the server (on page 23 ).
Hard drive cage option
An additional SAS controller option is required to support the hard drive cage option.
