Compatible FlashCopy can be executed when Cnt Ac-S Z copy pairs or Cnt Ac-J Z copy pairs are
in the suspend status.
To use the Compatible FlashCopy linkage function in a 3DC Multi-Target (Cnt Ac-S Z x Cnt Ac-J
Z) configuration:
1. Suspend the Cnt Ac-S Z or Cnt Ac-J Z copy pairs.
2. Execute Compatible FlashCopy.
After Compatible FlashCopy is initiated, the status of the copy pairs in the DUPLEX status will
change to Pending. The copy pairs will return to the DUPLEX status when Compatible FlashCopy
ends.
3. Monitor the completion status of the copying process.
To monitor the completion status of Compatible FlashCopy, run a script that includes the
YKFCSTAT
command.
