Causes of errors that might occur while creating or updating a configuration file and the
recommended actions
Table 133 (page 736) describes the causes of errors that might occur while creating or updating a
configuration file from the ISPF panel, and includes the recommended actions:

The YKS086E message displays the dataset format that causes the error and the
correct dataset format. Delete the configuration file in which the error has occurred, The configuration file dataset format is invalid.

check the dataset format and the required device capacity, and then reallocate a
configuration file.
One of the possible causes is an extent allocation failure. Depending on the
configuration, the correct allocation might not be possible when allocation using a An error occurred while editing the configuration
