DRIVESTATUS Function

DRIVESTATUS Function

The DRIVESTATUS function of the utility program allows the reporting of the status of
each drive. The function returns what state each drive is in as displayed in the
configuration, up or down.

Syntax:

Run <LMM ISV>.INTFACE/NAME/ DRIVESTATUS <qualified output
file> <LMM ISV location>

Example:

Run $SYSTEM.LMM.INTFACE/NAME/ DRIVESTATUS
$SYSTEM.OUTPUT.STATUS $SYSTEM.LMM

DRIVESTATUS is the function.

$SYSTEM.OUTPUT.STATUS is the output file for the listing.

$SYSTEM.LMM is the location of the LMM software on the
NonStop server. It can be any valid $volume.subvolume.

REFRESH Function

The REFRESH function allows a refresh of the library once 9840 labels have been
identified as 9840C tapes. Without this command LMM would have to be recycled.

This command is run after the ADDTAPE program is run and tape labels are either
added or deleted to/from 9840C support

Syntax:

Run <LMM ISV>.INTFACE/NAME/REFRESH>

Example:

Run $SYSTEM.LMM.INTFACE/NAME/REFRESH
