ERASING AN ENTIRE CD-RW DISC

An entire disc erase is available for both finalized and non-
finalized CD-RW disc.

1 Load the CD-RW disc to be erased on the

record tray.

2 Press ERASE on the front panel or remote

control repeatedly until "DISC" is displayed.

"ERASE" will begin flashing.

3 Within 3 seconds, press

c

on the record

deck.
Alternatively, press CD-R/RW/SEL and then

c

on the remote control.

"ERASE" will stop flashing and remain lit.
After the erasure process, "00 00:00" is displayed and
"ERASE" goes out.

ERASING INDIVIDUAL TRACKS

• One or more individual tracks on a CD-RW disc may be

erased at a time, starting with the last track on the disc.

• Individual track erase is available only for a non-finalized

CD-RW disc. If you want to erase a track in a finalized
CD-RW disc, the disc has to be unfinalized first.

1 Load the CD-RW disc to be erased on the

record tray.

2 Press ERASE on the front panel or remote

control repeatedly until "01 TRK" is displayed.

"ERASE" will begin flashing.

3 Within 3 seconds, press

on the

record deck or remote control until the
number of tracks to be erased is displayed.

For example, when "06 TRK" is displayed a total of six
tracks will be erased, counting back from the last track
on the disc.

4 Within 3 seconds, press

c

on the record

deck.
Alternatively, press CD-R/RW/SEL and then

c

on the remote control.

After the erasing process, "ERASE" will go out and the
total number of tracks will be displayed.

Note

The time it takes to complete the erasing process varies
from one disc to another.
