Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology for exchanging information over
a distance of about 30 feet. You don’t need to line up the devices to send information with
Bluetooth. If the devices are in range, you can exchange information between them, even if they
are in different rooms.

Your device can use Bluetooth to share photos, contacts and other content with other Bluetooth
devices.

Turn Bluetooth on

1. From

Start, swipe left to Apps, and then tap

Settings.

2. Swipe left or right to display System, and then tap Bluetooth.

3. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn Bluetooth On. When you turn Bluetooth on, your device

will scan for Bluetooth devices, and will be discoverable by other devices.

Tap + Send

Your phone uses NFC to share photos, websites, contacts, and more, or pair your phone by
tapping to another NFC-capable device.

When tap + send is turned On, you can share items from many apps by tapping

share… > tap + Send.

3. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the feature On.

Airplane Mode

Enabling Airplane mode turns off calling, messaging, and data network features. It also turns off
other connectivity features, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

While in airplane mode, you can use other features of your device, such as playing music,
watching videos, or other applications.

To use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when Airplane mode is enabled, you can turn them on in Settings.
