3. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the feature On.

Note: E911 location service is standard on all mobile phones, to allow sharing of GPS

information with emergency personnel when you make a call to emergency services,
such as 911.

Kid’s Corner

Kid’s Corner is a place on your phone where you can share apps, videos, games, and music
with your child. They will have a Start screen of their own and easy access to the items you add
there.

Your child can open Kid’s Corner by swiping left from the lock screen, and leave Kid’s Corner by
pressing the Power/Lock Key.

1. From

Start, swipe left to Apps, and then tap

Settings.

2. Swipe left or right to display System, and then tap kid’s corner.

3. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the feature On.

4. Tap next, and then choose which content your child can use in Kid’s Corner. They’ll

have full access to the items you add here, including any game scores and app
passwords.

5. Tap next to choose whether to set a lock screen password to help protect your phone

and keep your child from accessing your Start screen. Tap skip to move to the next step
without setting a password, or tap set password and follow the prompts to set a
password.

6. Tap finish to launch Kid’s Corner to have a look around. To leave Kid’s Corner, just

press the Power/Lock Key.

Battery Saver

Your phone can turn off some services while in standby to help preserve battery power. When
Battery Saver is turned on, you will still receive calls and texts, but apps will only run when you
open them, and email must be synced manually.

Start, swipe left to Apps, and then tap

Settings.

2. Swipe left or right to display System, and then tap battery saver.

3. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the feature On. Tap Advanced to choose when to

automatically turn on Battery Saver.
