2. Swipe left or right to display Applications, and then tap people.

3. Configure options:

Filter my contact list: Tap to hide accounts from accounts you choose. The

contacts will still be available when searching.

Hide posts from the contacts I’ve filtered: Tap to enable or disable the option.

When enabled, new posts or notifications from contacts in accounts you’ve hidden
won’t be displayed.

Sort list by: Choose a sort order for contact names.

Display names by: Choose a display format for contact names.

Use my location: Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the option On or Off. When turned

On, your phone uses your location to help you find nearby places and check in.

Save check-in searches and locations with my Microsoft account to improve

search results: Tap to enable or disable the option.

Privacy Statement: Tap to view the privacy statement.

Accounts: Tap add an account to set up an email, Facebook, or other account.

Contacts from accounts you set up are synced with your phone.

Configure settings for making calls.

1. From

Start, swipe left to Apps, and then tap

Settings.

2. Swipe left or right to display Applications, and then tap phone.

3. Configure options:

My phone number: View the number assigned to your phone (not configurable).

Use default voicemail number: Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the option On or

Off. When turned On, your phone uses your service provider’s voicemail number.
When turned Off, you can enter a different number for accessing voicemail.

Text reply: Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the option On or Off. When tuned On,

you can reply to a call with a text message.

Edit replies: When Text reply is turned On, tap to edit or create messages you can

send as text replies to an incoming call.
