2. Swipe left or right to display System, and then tap extra settings.
3. Configure options:
 Echo cancellation: Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the option On or Off. When
turned On, your phone uses echo cancellation to improve voice quality during phone
calls.
 Audio output mode: Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the option On or Off. When
turned On, your phone uses the external speakers for audio output when docked in
an optional dock accessory (not included).
 Haptic feedback: Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the option On or Off. When turned
On, your phone vibrates when you touch the Back Key or Search Key.
SoundAlive
Choose an equalizer setting for sounds in Music + Videos.
1. From Start, swipe left to Apps, and then tap Settings.
2. Swipe left or right to display System, and then tap SoundAlive.
3. Tap the field to choose an equalizer.
Applications
Background Tasks
Choose apps, to allow them to continue to run in the background, even when they’re not open.
1. From Start, swipe left to Apps, and then tap Settings.
2. Swipe left or right to display Applications, and then tap background tasks.
3. Tap an app, and then configure options for the app to run in the background.
4. Tap advanced to display apps that can run in the background, that you may not be able
to block.
Data Sense
Use Data sense to find more efficient ways to use cellular (mobile) data service, and display
your data usage.
1. From Start, swipe left to Apps, and then tap Settings.
2. Swipe left or right to display Applications, and then tap data sense.
