TELEPHONE BOOK

The telephone book is good for the entries of useful or often dialled telephone numbers
with name. You can enter these telephone numbers together with the name directly or
you can transfer the short-code dial numbers of the PBX into the telephone with the help
of the PC program COMtools. (The number of entries depends on the firmware version
of the handset.)

All entries are displayed in an alphabetical order. You can search the entries by scrolling
or by entering the initial (

page 38

) and directly dial the displayed telephone number out

of the telephone book (

page 23

).

If a telephone number is available in the telephone book and was presented in case of
an incoming call, in addition to the number, the corresponding name is shown on the dis-
play.

Please enter the telephone number the same way you did when dialing e.g. external tele-
phone numbers that means always with a preceding „0“. (Exception: Direct exchange
line telephone; see

page 28

.)

Manually entered numbers cannot be overwritten or edited with COMtools.
