Digital zoom

When zoom exceeds 3×, the image is
enlarged by digital processing. The
maximum digital zoom magnification
is 6×. Digital zooming deteriorates the
image quality, so when digital zoom is
not necessary, set [DIGITAL ZOOM]
to [OFF] in the SET UP settings
(page 116).

During digital zoom, the AF frame does
not appear on the LCD screen.

Digital zoom does not work for movies.
