To turn off the SET UP screen

Set the mode dial to anything other than
SET UP.

How to use the jog dial
(MVC-CD400 only)

The jog dial is used to change the setting
values when shooting with the manual
adjustment modes (shutter speed priority
mode, aperture priority mode, manual
exposure mode), EV adjustment or focusing
manually.

Shooting with the manual
adjustment modes

Set the mode dial to S, A, or M.

The adjustable values appear on the
right side of the screen.

Turn the jog dial to select the
item you want to adjust.

Press the jog dial.

The value turns yellow.

Turn the jog dial to select the
value you want to set.

The displayed value is set.

jog dial, then repeat steps

Shooting with EV adjustment or
focusing manually

Press

once or FOCUS

twice.

The adjustable values appear on the
right side of the screen. (When you
press FOCUS twice, the 9 (manual
focus) indicator appears in the position
of the value.)
