3.1

Reception (Internet Fax)

There are two methods of E-mail reception; auto-acquisition and manual acquisition. When this machine
receives an E-mail, the E-mail text and any attached files are printed automatically.

When the [Memory RX Setting] is activated in the Utility mode, the received original is saved in "Memory RX
User Box". The saved original can be printed if required.

Note

An attached file up to 3,000 pages and a message of 20 KBytes at the maximum can be received.

Auto-acquisition

E-mails from POP servers are automatically acquired at fixed intervals.

Note

Intervals for acquiring E-mails can be altered within a range of 1 to 60 minutes. For details on setting
methods, refer to "Specifying E-mail reception settings (E-Mail RX (POP))" on page 9-44. At the time of
purchase, the machine is set to an interval of 15 minutes.

Manual acquisition

E-mail can be acquired manually from POP server.

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Touch [Receive I-Fax].
