! The device is connected to this navigation

system via Bluetooth.
p You cannot use the AppRadio Mode

when Bluetooth wireless technology is
disconnected.

For smartphone users
! The following conditions apply to the use of

this function.
— The device has Android OS 2.3 or high-

er.

— The device supports Bluetooth SPP (Se-

rial Port Profile).

p Compatibility with all Android devices is

not guaranteed.
For details about Android device com-
patibility with this navigation system,
refer to the information on our website.

! An App Connectivity Kit (CD-AH200) (sold

separately) is required for connection to
this navigation system.

! The device is connected to this navigation

system via Bluetooth.
p You cannot use the AppRadio Mode

when Bluetooth wireless technology
(SPP) is disconnected.

Starting procedure

The procedure varies depending on your type
of device.

For iPhone with 30-pin
connector users

Set

“App connection settings” to

“iPhone”, and “iPod Connection Settings”
to

“30-pin Connector”.

tion on page 149.

Connect your iPhone.

= For details, refer to Connecting your iPod on

page 20.

Press the HOME button to display the

“Top Menu” screen.

Touch [Apps].

A message, which notifies you that your
iPhone can launch the application, appears
on screen.
A message, which asks you whether you want
to launch your application, appears on your
iPhone.

Use your iPhone to launch the applica-

tion.
The

AppRadio app is launched.

Touch [OK] on the screen of this pro-

duct.
The

AppRadio Mode screen (Application

menu screen) appears.

p If you connect your device while an

AppRadio Mode-compatible application is
already running, the application operation
screen appears on this navigation system.

Touch the desired application icon.

The desired application is launched, and the
application operation screen appears.

Operate the application.

Press the HOME button to go back to

the application menu screen.

p If you press the HOME button while the ap-

plication menu screen is displayed, the
“Top Menu” screen appears.
