Restoring the navigation system to the default or factory settings
Returning the navigation
function to the default
settings
Delete all saved data and reset all settings to
their factory defaults.
1. Display the settings screen.
➲ For details of the operations, refer to
“Displaying the screen for navigation
settings” on page 91.
2. Touch [Reset to Defaults].
Returning the AV function to
the default or factory settings
You can return settings or recorded content to
the default or factory settings. There are some
methods to clear user data, and the situations
and the cleared content are different for each
method. For information regarding the content
that is cleared by each method, see the
following descriptions.
Method 1: Remove the vehicle battery
Method 2: Press the Reset button
The settings and registered content are reset
to the default settings, except for the following
settings and registered contents.
• Last AV source screen
• Volume
• All settings on the Audio
• All settings on the System

Method 3: Tap [System Reset]
All the settings and registered content are
reset to the default settings.

* Press the Reset button.
Press the reset button on this product with a
pointed object such as the tip of a pen.
Returning this product to the initial
state
Resets various settings registered to this
product and restores them to the default or
factory settings.
1. Press the HOME button to display the
“Top Menu” screen.
2. Tap [Settings].
3. Tap .
The “System” screen appears.
4. Tap [System Reset].
5. Tap [Yes].
