Selects a preset channel

Storing broadcast frequencies

With a tap of any of the preset tuning keys (“1
to “6”), you can easily store up to six
broadcast frequencies for later recall (also
with the tap of a key).

1. Select a frequency that you want to store

in memory.

2. Keep touching a preset tuning key [1] to

[6].

Preset tuning keys

The selected radio station has been stored in
memory.
The next time you tap the same preset tuning
key “1” to “6”, the radio station frequencies are
recalled from memory.

Up to 18 FM stations, six for each of the
three FM bands, as well as six MW/LW
stations, can be stored in memory.

Using advanced functions

Storing the strongest broadcast
frequencies

BSM (best stations memory) lets you
automatically store the six strongest
broadcast frequencies under the preset
tuning keys “1” to “6” and, once stored there,
you can tune into them with the touch of a key.

Storing broadcast frequencies with BSM
may replace broadcast frequencies you
have already saved.

1. Tap [BSM].

2. Tap [OK] to begin a search.

The

appears. The six strongest broadcast

frequencies will be stored under the preset
tuning keys “1” to “6”.

If no frequencies is found, the

stays on.

In that case, tap [CANCEL] to cancel the
storage process.

Searching for an RDS station by PTY
information

You can search for general types of
broadcasting programmes.

1. Tap .

The PTY list screen appears.

2. Tap the item you want.

There are four programme types:
News and InformationPopular
ClassicsOthers

3. Tap desired programme type to begin a

search.
The tuner searches for a station broadcasting
that programme type.

If you tap [CANCEL], the search is cancelled.

The programmes of some stations may
differ from that indicated by the transmitted
PTY.

If no PTY programme you searched for is
found, reception of the current frequency
resumes.
