Basic operations of the AV source

Basic operations of the AV s ource

This chapter describes the basic operations of
the AV source.
You can play or use the following sources with
your Pioneer navigation system.
TUNER (FM, MW/LW)
CD
ROM (in MP3, WMA)
USB
The following sources can be played back or
used by connecting an auxiliary device.
iPod
Bluetooth audio
AV input (AUX)

Displaying the AV operation

screen

* Press the MODE button when the map

screen is displayed.

The AV source menu screen can also be
displayed by tapping [AV Source] on the
Top Menu” screen.

Selecting a source

1. Tap

on the AV operation screen.

The AV source list appears.

2. Tap the source you want to select.

The operation screen of the selected source
appears.

To return to the original source with the AV
source list displayed, select the source.

Operating list screens (e.g.

iPod list screen)

The following example describes how to
switch between the AV operation screen and
the artist list screen of iPod.

Displays the list screen

1. Display the AV operation screen.

For details of the operations, refer to
“Displaying the AV operation screen” on
page 70.

2. Tap .

The list screen appears.

The item currently selected is highlighted.

Selecting an item

1. Scroll the list by tapping

or

to

display the item you want to select.

Scroll bar

Flicking a list item enables you to quickly
scroll through the list.
To stop scrolling, gently touch the list.

2. Tap the item.

The system begins playing the selected item.

Turning off the AV source

Turn off the AV source to stop playing or
receiving the AV source.

1. Display the AV operation screen.
