Sturdy hinges connect the two parts of the lockable flip-top lid. This means, even with
heavy usage, the lid keeps on performing and closes fully to prevent cold from escaping.
Single-pane safety glass is made from a single, specially thermally-treated and tempered
pane, which is highly resistant to both impact and temperature fluctuations. If the glass
does break under too high a strain it shatters into small pieces without any danger-
ous edges.
