Infrared interface
Integrated data memory
To use data stored by the electronic
system, an infrared key is available as
an optional accessory. The temperature
data is transferred from the infrared inter-
face on the appliance to the infrared key,
which can then be connected to a PC or
laptop using a data cable.
The integrated data memory guarantees
complete documentation and logs not only
the last 30 alarm incidents with date, time
and maximum temperature, but also the
internal temperature profile at four-minute
intervals. In total, 2,800 temperature
recordings are captured, which equates
to a logging-period of one week approx.
In the event of a power cut, the electron-
ics system is immediately supplied by an
integrated 12 V rechargeable battery or
a power cut alarm device. The integrated
memory will thus document all interior
temperatures, even in the event of a
power cut, and an alarm can be triggered.
The min/max memory ensures precise
control of the minimum and maximum
interior temperatures.

Calibration function
Volt-free contact
Serial RS 485 interface
The calibration function can be used to
compensate for differences between the
set and the actual interior temperature,
enabling precise temperature control.
A volt-free contact can be used to
integrate laboratory appliances into an
existing warning system, to notify security
personnel or a caretaker of malfunction
outside normal working hours. Warning
systems can be equipped with acoustic
or visual alarms.
The serial RS 485 interface can be used
to connect laboratory appliances to a
monitoring system or network them to
a PC or laptop.
