Modulation Control
The instrument provides various modulation capabilities that can be accessed by the MODULATION
Tabs (
). The modulation capabilities depend on the particular instrument model and are
enabled by the GUI correspondingly.
3.7.1
Pulse Modulation
Select Mode as “Pulse Modulation”
On the left
the internal pulse modulation can be preset and started with the ON/OFF button. For
internal pulse modulation, select pulse width and modulation period in milliseconds. Note that pulse
width resolution and accuracy is approx. ± 15 ns.
For external modulation change the “Source” to “External Pulse”.
For both, internal and external, the “Inverse Polarity” button allows the instant inversion of the
modulation polarity.
