Re-map Pelco Aux (Pelco D and P Protocols only)

The Pelco protocols (D and P) support 8 different auxiliaries, but do not define what function

each should perform. This feature enables the 8 available auxiliaries to be set to any of the 8

available functions (Auto Focus, Digital Zoom, Auto Iris, Wiper, Washer, OSD and Backlight).

By default, the auxiliaries are mapped as follows:

CLEAR SOFT

first setting the Top Left and then the Bottom Right of the zone. Once

MAP AUX TO

PRESET

This option opens a submenu that allows certain features of the

camera which would normally be controlled through Aux commands to

be mapped to Go To Preset commands. The features available for this

are Wiper, Washer, Digital Zoom, Auto Iris, Auto Focus, and Auto Pan.

For each function there are 3 options: Control, On Preset, and Off

Preset. The control field denotes if the function is activated by the

normal aux command or through a preset. The other 2 options set the

preset number to activate or deactivate each function. This provides

the ability to run all of the camera’s standard auxiliaries from a wider

range of control systems with varying direct aux support.

Note: If the control field of any of the functions is set to Go To Preset,

then the feature will not work using a standard button from a normal

controller. Similarly, if mapped to an Aux command, the preset values

indicated will have no effect.
