Normal Engine Operation
• Observe indicator panels frequently to be sure all engine systems are functioning
properly.
• Be alert for unusual noises or vibration. When an unusual condition is
noticed, perform shut-down procedure. See “Shut-Down Procedure”. Report
condition to your supervisor or maintenance personnel.
• Avoid prolonged idling. If the engine is not being used, turn it off.
Shut-Down Procedure
1. Lower platform to ground.
2. Release footswitch.
3. Shut-off engine and remove ignition key.
4. Exit platform properly.
5. Insert key into cab ignition and turn to OFF position. Remove key.
6. Depress emergency stop button.
7. Turn off electrical master switch in engine compartment (if equipped).
8. Block wheels (if necessary).
