Carrying out an auto-restore

An auto-restore serves to automatically save identical backup data to multiple controllers.

Auto-restore with »Backup & Restore« - software application
In order to be able to perform an auto-restore, a one-time backup of the desired controller the data

bases of which you want to copy must be effected.

A USB stick configured for auto-restore can afterwards be used for an optional number of auto-

restore processes.

How to prepare a USB stick for an auto-restore:
The individual steps of an Auto-Restore are identical to those of a Restore.

Carrying out restore and auto-restore

1. Select the Auto-Restore command from the selection list to start the process.
2. Connect the USB stick to the desired controller.
3. Restart controller (with connected USB stick) by mains switching.

The restore is automatically carried out during the boot-up process.

4. After the boot-up of the controller: Remove the USB stick from the controller.

Tip!
This process can be repeated with an optional number of controllers.

Note!

• When executing an Auto-restore, a restore is carried out directly - no backup of the

system is created before.

• An auto-restore is an optimised process for carrying out a series commissioning.
