94-97 LT1 CAMARO HEADER
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Manifold Removal
1. Disconnect battery
2. Remove alternator
3. Remove air tubes and diverter valves.
4. Remove air intake tubing.
5. Remove plugs and dipstick tube.
6. Remove headpipe and manifolds.
Tips for header installation
1. Unbolt starter and let it hang down
2. On outer ports on each head you will see 2 bolt holes, manifolds use
the outer bolts, headers use the inner bolts. Run a tap thru all 4 inner
bolts to clear out corrosion, header installation is much easier if you
do this. Even easier if you chase the threads on the bolts.
3. Install #2 plug and boot before the header, much easier.
Left Header
1. Drop in from the top.
2. Start 2 bolts
3. Install gasket
4. Start rest of bolts and tighten.
