VOLTAGE DROP CALCULATIONS
The
ElectriCalc LT
calculates voltage
drop and wire size using DC resistance
values as defined by the 1999 NEC. To
find the voltage drop for a
specific
wire
size, you must
first
enter amps
(and the
other required variables), then enter the
specific wire size. Otherwise, if amps
are entered last, the calculator will re-
calculate the wire size to match the ‘99
NEC Ampacity Table requirements.
