Window Cleaning

The sample window should be inspected and cleaned frequently. Dirt, dust and sample carry-over on
the window can affect analytical results. Cleaning may be performed at any time, even when the
instrument is operating, and between samples if needed.

Please follow this procedure:

Using a clean Kim-wipe or other suitable lab
wipe, gently rub the window surface to remove
any dirt or residual material.

Do not use strong solvents or acetone, which
could permanently damage the instrument
surface. If needed, apply a small amount of
isopropyl alcohol to the Kim-wipes. Do not
saturate the wipes.
