M1/M2 buttons

Allows you to store and
dial one touch numbers,
see page 12

Aerial

Can be extended to
obtain the best signal
and reception available.

In Use/Battery Low light

Indicates when the handset
rings, is in use or, if the
handset battery needs
recharging, see page 8.

Talk button

Press to make or receive
a call, see page 10.

Keypad

Volume control buttons

Adjusts the handset ringer
and earpiece speech volume,
see page 15

Recall button

For use with a
switchboard/PBX and BT
Select Services, see page 40.

Quickdial button

Allows you to store and
dial up to 10 numbers in
the memory, see page 13.

Redial button

Redials the last number
called. Also, press to
enter a pause in a
stored number, see page 12.

Secrecy / Music on hold

Press to mute the call so
your caller cannot hear you.
When pressed music will
be played to both you and
your caller, see page 12.

Charging contacts

Intercom/Channel button

Enables communication
between the handset and
base unit.
Selects an alternative radio
frequency if interference
occurs during a call, see
page 11

Screen/Menu buttons

Allows you to hear a caller
leaving a message. You can
then choose to take the call
or not.
Also, allows you to access
the answering machine
menu, see page 26.
