Polishing workpieces

1 Hold the polishing paste against the polishing wheel while it

is running,

2 Position the knife slanted relative to the running direction,
3 Position the knife at the polishing wheel at a more obtuse

angle than for grinding,

4 Hone the knife until the burr has been completely removed

and the surface has the required polish.

5 Polish both sides of the blade alternately.
