For using the utility software, refer to its online help.
Task Bar Icons
When the FLEXLAN-DS series utility is started, the icon appears in
the Windows system tray. The icon changes its display depending
on the operation status of the PC Card.
Table 5.1. Task Bar Icons
ADHOC (Simple) Mode
Sending to another device in the FLEXLAN-DS series.
Receiving from another device in the FLEXLAN-DS series.
Sending/receiving to/from another device in the FLEXLAN-DS series.
Infrastructure (Standard, Brouter) Mode
Indicates that the radio signal strength (RSSI value) of the logged-in
AP is 70 or more.
Indicates that the RSSI value of the logged-in AP is between 50 and 70.
Indicates an RSSI value of 50 or less.
Sending to the AP.
Receiving from the AP.
Sending/receiving to/from the AP.
Common
Indicates that the FX-DS110-PCC has not been plugged in the PC Card
slot or not been operating.
