Show Thin Virtual Disk

Description

This command returns the expansion history or the consumed capacity for the specified thin virtual disk or virtual disks.

Syntax

show (allVirtualDisks | virtualDisk [virtualDiskName] |

virtualDisks [virtualDiskName1 ... virtualDiskNameN])

(consumedCapacity | (expansionHistory [file=fileName]))

Parameters

Parameter

Description

allVirtualDisks

The setting to return information about all of the virtual
disks in the storage array.

virtualDisk or virtualDisks

The name of the specific virtual disk for which you are
retrieving information. You can enter more than one virtual
disk name. Enclose the virtual disk name in square
brackets ([ ]). If the virtual disk name has special
characters, you also must enclose the virtual disk name in
double quotation marks (" ").

consumedCapacity

The setting to return a concise list of information about the
consumed capacity of the thin virtual disks.

expansionHistory

The setting to return a concise list of information about the
expansion history of the thin virtual disks.

file

The file parameter specifies a file to log the output of
the expansionHistory parameter. The file is valid
only when used with the expansionHistory
parameter. An invalid file name causes the command to
fail.

Notes

With the expansionHistory parameter, the command returns information similar to the example shown below.
