Press MD or repeatedly

until the track number you want to
be first of two to be combined
appears.

For example, to combine tracks 4 and 1,
select track 4.

Press EDIT then press + / -
repeatedly until "Combine ?"
appears.

the track.

"Complete" appears for a few seconds

and the tracks are combined. Play starts.

Undoing the last
edit

Undo Function

This function lets you cancel the last edit and

restore the contents of the MD to the
condition before the edit.

Note, however, that you cannot undo an edit
if you do any of the following after the edit:

• Press the • RFC or CD-MD SYNC button

on the MD deck.

• Update the TOC by turning the power off

or ejecting the MD.

• Disconnect the mains lead.

While the deck is stopped with no
track number appearing in the
display, press EDIT repeatedly until

"Undo ?" appears.

"Undo ?" does not appear if you have

not done any previous editing.

To cancel combining

Press EDIT.

Notes

• If both of the combined tracks have track titles, the

title of the second track is erased.

* If "Impossible" appears, the tracks cannot be

combined. This happens when you've edited the
same track too many times. This is due to a
technical limitation of the MD system and is not a
mechanical error.
