Undoing the last edit

Undo Function

You can cancel the last edit and restore the
contents of the MD to the condition before the
edit.
Note, however, that you cannot undo an edit
if you do any of the following after the ^it:

• Do another edit.
• Press REC.
• Press REC IT.
• Press ENTER/YES, after pressing

SELECT SYNC, SEAMLESS, HIT PARADE
or MD WALKMAN SYNC.

• Update the TOC by turning off the system

or ejecting the MD.

• Disconnect the AC power cord.

Press ENTER/YES.

One of the following messages appears,
depending on the last edit.

Editing done;

Message:

Labeling an MD or
a track

Copying a disc
title or a track title

Erasing labeled
titles

“Name Undo?”

Erasing a single
track

Erasing all tracks

on an MD

Erasing a portion
of a track

“Erase Undo?"

Moving a track

“Move Undo?"

Dividing a track

“Divide Undo?"

Combining tracks

“Combine Undo?"

Press ENTER/YES again.

"Complete!!" appears for a few seconds
and the contents of the MD are restored
to the condition before the edit.

To cancel the Undo Function

Press ■ for the MD.

Press MENU/NO while the deck is
stopped so that "Edit Menu"
appears.

Turn MULTI JOG until "Undo ?"
appears.

When there is no editing function that
can be canceled, "Undo ?" is not
displayed.
