Using Your NotetMOk Computer

Keep the battery pack in the computer while it Is directly connected to AC power. The
battery pack continues to charge while you are using the computer.
When the remairang battery charge drops to 7%, the computer automaticafly enters System
Hibernation mode. This may resuit in data loss as the lästern ätanges modes.
You can extend battery life by changing the power managemer« modes in the PowerPanel
utility. See 'Using Power Sawng Modes' on page 42.
The battery pack supplied with your computer is a littwjm ion battery and can be rech^ed
«any time. Charging a partialiy discharged battery does not afTeabattery life.
The battery indicata light is on while you use the battery pack as a power source. When
battery Ife is nearly depleted, the battery indicator starts flashing.
To remove the battery pack
1 Open the cover of the battery bay.
2 Pull out the battery pack.
3 Close the cover of the battery bay.
